Hyundai has launched the facelifted, BS6-compliant Verna in India. Prices for the Verna facelift start at Rs 9.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 15.09 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from a 1.5-litre NA petrol and 1.5-litre diesel, the Verna also gets a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol as well. In total, the 2020 Verna has 11 variants and three engine options. But wait, there’s more. Hyundai has given the Verna facelift subtle visual tweaks all around the exterior.
The 2020 Verna comes with a smart trunk release feature.
The turbo-petrol even gets a minor design element at each corner of the rear bumper.
Despite the visual tweaks, the Verna facelift still holds its own in the design department.
The 2020 Verna now gets a new bumper and wider mesh grille.
The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol variant comes with dual-tipped exhausts.
It also comes equipped with a wireless phone charger.
A big change is the digital instrument cluster with 4.2-inch colour TFT MID.
That’s the 2020 Verna’s 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Hyundai’s newest sedan also gets an Arkamys Premium Sound system with front tweeters as well as front & rear speakers.
The turbo-petrol variant also gets paddle shifters.
Hyundai has loaded the Verna facelift with front ventilated seats, as well.
There’s also an adjustable armrest to suit the need of the customer.
The 2020 Verna comes with a healthy mix of beige and black on the inside.
The turbo-petrol version gets an all-black interior theme with red stitching on certain trim parts.
The Verna facelift also comes equipped with an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS).
Look out! The 2020 Verna now comes with cornering headlamps.
As expected, there’s also an electrochromic mirror – IRVM with BlueLink switches.
The turbo-petrol variant also gets front parking sensors.
