Not just the BMW fans but any auto enthusiast who celebrates the marvel of engineering and beauty on wheels will worship the new 2023 BMW M4 CSL. The BMW M4 CSL is all about extra power, reduced weight and sporty dynamics. The new BMW M4 CSL gets a bump up of 40hp in power, sheading out 109 kg of weight, and various unique modifications in chassis, exterior and interior are done to make it more sporty and distinctive.

The 2022 BMW M4 CSL is based on the ongoing M4 Competition.BMW claims that to get the M4 CSL into fighting shape, BMW M borrowed a surprising amount of tech and know-how from the M4 GT3 racecar. The M4 CSL receives a 3.0-litre, twin-turbo, straight-six motor that generates a whopping 550bhp of power and 650Nm of torque, making 1625kg M4 CSL accelerate from 0-100 in just 3.7 seconds. BMW has a legacy with CSL cars since 1973 as the BMW 3.0 CSL developed by BMW Motorsport GmbH won the European Touring Car Championship in its first attempt.

Conventional components for the exterior and interior, powertrain and chassis are now replaced with lightweight model-specific alternatives. The use of this lightweight yet hugely robust high-tech material reduces the vehicle’s overall weight as well as lowers its centre of gravity, enhancing agility and cornering dynamics. However, going several steps further, the BMW M4 CSL also utilizes carbon fibre for the hood and trunk lid. The car gets a 19-inch front and 20-inch rear matte black lightweight alloy wheels and a combination of M Carbon ceramic brakes with red-painted callipers.
The optimized routing of the dual-branch exhaust system’s pipes and large cross-sections reduces backpressure. The system’s two electrically-controlled flaps and bespoke titanium rear silencer also enable it to produce a distinctive engine note, especially for the new BMW M4 CSL. The BMW M4 CSL uses the Adaptive M Suspension with electronically controlled dampers and electromechanical M Servotronic steering with variable ratios to make it drive more performance-focused.

On the inside, it elites a racing spirit from every glance. The M4 CSL gets only a two-seat configuration wherein lightweight carbon fibre bucket seats are used to shave off 21 kg weight from its the Competition’s curb weight. The seating surfaces and backrests of the M Carbon full bucket seats are trimmed in black Merino leather. The BMW M4 Competition combines track functionality and lightweight design with much higher comfort and adjustability over long journeys.

If you are a hardcore BMW fan, you must be evoked to buy one for yourself. But wait, by the time you plan to buy one, it might have been booked out because only 1000 global units will be manufactured.
