If you are a fan of fast and beautiful motorcycles, Aprilia is a name you’re sure to have heard of before. Recently, the company listed the Aprilia RS 660 on its international website, suggesting a launch just around the corner. As a concept, the RS 660 was first showcased at EICMA 2018. The production version later showcased at EICMA 2019, along with the concept-version of its streetfighter sibling – Tuono 660. When it comes to styling, the RS 660 takes after the bigger RSV4. The sharp lines and aggressive graphics add to the appeal of the fully-faired motorcycle. Some of its standout features include the LED headlamps with cornering lights, aero winglets, sharp fuel tank and rear end.

At the heart of the matter is the 660cc, parallel-twin motor which is capable of producing 99bhp. Couple that with a 169kg (dry) weight and things do seem like they will be extremely quick. That’s not it though, the Aprilia RS 660 also comes with a list of tech. Namely, cornering ABS, two-way quick shifter, cruise control, five riding modes and wheelie control. Also, let’s not forget the 5-inch TFT screen with two layouts.

Furthermore, the RS 660 gets fully-adjustable 41mm USD forks from Kayaba and a mono-shock at the rear. The braking on the RS 660 is handled by twin discs at the front and a single disc at the back; both fitted with Brembo calipers. Last but certainly not least, the RS 660 will be available in two paint schemes upon its launch – a special red and purple colour inspired by the RS250 Reggiani Replica motorcycle, and a matte black colour with red themes all around. Currently, there isn’t any word on its launch in India but we do hope it can make it to our shores soon. Don’t you? If it does it make to India, it could rival the Honda CBR 650R and Kawasaki Ninja 650.
