Audi has begun bookings for the A4 facelift at a price of Rs 2 lakh. The A4 is available for pre-booking starting today, and customers can either walk into the showroom or as is the trend nowadays – book it online.
The A4 never could match the hype and following of the BMW 3 series or the Mercedes-Benz C class, but it always rested on its merits as a well-made and luxurious German sedan. However, with the Mercedes-Benz C class racking up the sales numbers, and the introduction of the all-new BMW 3 series, the A4 was on the backfoot. But now, finally, Audi has started pre-bookings for the new A4 facelift that sports hints of Audi’s latest design language. It now features sharper and more aggressive bumpers and Matrix LED headlamps upfront along with subtle but noticeable changes throughout.
On the inside, the subtlety continues but with hints of modernisation like connected car technology and an all-new MMI touch display. Space and dimensions, however, remain the same as before.
The A4 facelift will be the first Audi to be launched next year and is one that will be leading a myriad of other models bearing the four rings. The A4, previously, has managed to undercut it’s German rivals in terms of pricing which has worked in it’s favour, and hopefully, this trend continues with the new fifth-generation model as well.
Powering the A4 will be a sole petrol engine in the form of the 2.0-litre 190bhp motor. This engine also performs duties on other VW group cars, such as the Skoda Superb, Audi Q2 and the VW Tiguan Allspace. The A4 is also paired with the famous seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox allowing it to sprint from 0-100kph in 7.3 seconds.
Audi is also offering certain advantages if you pre-book the car, such as a comprehensive four-year service package. The booking amount for this car is Rs 2 lakh.
