BMW has facelifted and launched the new X3 for 2022 with prices starting at Rs 59.90 lakh. BMW has reworked the exterior design with a larger kidney grille and a resculpted front bumper. BMW has also given the X3 a slimmer headlamp design with a new adaptive LED unit. Come over to the side, and you will notice that not much has changed, but you get a set of new 19-inch wheels that look pretty sporty. Move over to the rear, and you see a new LED taillight design that quite prominently announces itself as the facelift along with the revised rear bumper.
Previously the X3 could be had with either a petrol or diesel motor, but now BMW has only offered a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor that puts out a healthy 252bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and puts the power down via an all-wheel-drive system.
Step inside the X3, and you’ll notice a redesigned centre console that features a new 12.35-inch touchscreen that’s available only with the top-spec M Sport variant. Still, the standard variant gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen. Additionally, BMW has given the new X3 a couple of features exclusive to the M Sport trim, like the new 360-degree camera, a Harmon Kardon surround sound system and adaptive suspension. Other standard features include a hands-free parking system, cruise control, a panoramic sunroof and three-zone climate control.
The BMW X3 is all set to go up against the Mercedes GLC, Audi Q5, the Land Rover Discovery Sport and the Volvo XC60. The X3 starts at Rs 59.90 lakh for the SportX Plus model and Rs 65.90 lakh for the M Sport model. Stick around for further details on the new BMW X3.
