So as you can see, the BMW M340i triumphs over the Audi S5 Sportback in terms of the power it produces and the 0 to 100 km/h time. But where the most significant difference between the M340i and S5 lies is the price. While the BMW M340i is priced at Rs 62.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India) the Audi S5 Sportback is priced at Rs 79.06 lakh, which is a price difference of almost Rs 16 lakhs which is a considerable amount. BMW has managed to undercut the Audi by quite a margin by locally producing the M340i instead of importing it as a CBU unit which the S5 Sportback is.
