Bounce has just launched its first electric scooter called the Infinity E1. Prices start from as low as Rs 36,000. The Infinity E1 can be had without a battery and charger from the dealership, and buyers can instead subscribe to Bounce’s battery swap network. The Bounce Infinity E1 can also be had with a battery and a charger for a price of Rs 68,999 (ex-showroom Delhi), whilst prices for their battery subscription service are yet to be announced. Based on the i-Flow by 22Kymco, Bounce has changed the overall design and spec of the scooter after it acquired the now inoperational brand.

The Bounce Infinity E1 runs on a 2kWhr lithium-ion battery with a claimed range of 85 km. The motor also generates a whopping 83 Nm of torque whilst claiming to achieve a top speed of 65 kmph and a claimed 0 to 40 kmph in 8 seconds. The Infinity E1 also has other tricks up its sleeve, like a Power mode for an additional burst of acceleration and an Eco mode for increased efficiency.

Now coming to the battery, it is a 48V 39AH battery that is IP 67 certified against water. The battery takes about 4 to 5 hours to charge and can be set at any regular electric socket weighing 13 kgs. The removable battery does reduce boot capacity to just 12 litres of storage. The Infinity E1 is built on a tubular frame and features hydraulic telescopic front suspension and twin shocks at the rear. Other features include a full LED headlamp, a digital speedometer, cruise control and riding modes.

Buyers can download an app for their smartphone that will allow them to control almost every aspect of the scooter. Users will get alerts about their battery status, location, tow alert, and geofence of their scooter. The Infinity E1 senses vibrations when left parked and can understand if it’s being tampered with. It locks its rear wheels in response to movement and makes it harder to move.
