India Kawasaki Motors has launched BS6-compliant Vulcan S in the country. Priced at Rs 5.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the Japanese middleweight cruiser is available in Metallic Flat Raw Graystone colour. Apart from the grey livery and the BS6-compliant engine, the Vulcan S pretty much remains the same as before.
Also, the 2020 Vulcan S now comes with Ergo-Fit sizing system which allows the user to adjustable riding position by altering the handlebar, seat and footpegs. As most will know, it gets a BS6-compliant 649cc parallel-twin engine. This liquid-cooled motor produces 60bhp and 63Nm of torque and comes mated to a six-speed transmission.
Other than that it gets a slim backbone-style rear frame and a linkage-equipped offset laydown single-shock. This was the only remaining 650cc model in Kawasaki’s India range left for BS6 upgradation.
