Citroen to launch the C5 Aircross in India and will be the first offering of its portfolio from the French automaker on Indian soil. Prices are estimated at Rs 30 lakh when launched.
The C5 Aircross will be sold with a single 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine which is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and no petrol engine or manual transmission will be on offer as of now. Buyers can opt between two variants of the C5 Aircross which are ‘Feel’ and ‘Shine’.
The C5 Aircross will directly rival the newly revamped Jeep Compass and the Hyundai Tucson both which are premium mid-sized SUVS priced at a similar price point. Below is a detailed technical break-up between the three vehicles.
