The upcoming months are going to be action-packed if you are into motorcycles. 2022 might have had a slow start when it comes to new motorcycle launches but that would soon change as bikemakers like KTM and Royal Enfield are going to launch an all-out assault in their respective segments. Here are some of the upcoming bikes that we can expect to take over our streets soon:
Next-gen KTM RC 390
KTM India has already launched the updated RC 200 and RC 125 with the RC 390 remaining the only bike in the RC lineup to officially land here.
Expect KTM to unleash the updated RC 390 in the coming few weeks. It might derive its performance from the same engine but the new RC 390 has received some tasty upgrades in other departments. Reports suggest that the India-spec RC 390 will also boast of adjustable suspension. Say what you may about its polarizing looks, once the RC 390 gets here, we are assuming that it will go on to rule the roost again!
2022 KTM 390 Adventure
The new 390 Adventure will be offered in two new colourways. KTM has also loaded it up with Street and Offroad modes for Traction Control. Moreover, the OFFROAD TC will remain activated in the event of a brief stall or fall.
It has also received more robust cast wheels. KTM is expected to launch the 390 Adventure in the coming few months and maybe with a revised price tag.
Triumph Tiger Sport 660
Triumph’s most affordable bike, the Trident 660 has found many takers in our country and rightly so! Triumph was vigilant enough to develop another motorcycle based on the same platform and this decision gave us the Tiger Sport 660.
Slated to launch in India on 29th March, this sports-tourer is powered by the same 660cc inline-three motor. It gets a bigger fuel tank, tall windscreen, new subframe and a new 40mm wider handlebar mounted on tall risers.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350
Royal Enfield is working on a ton of new products and one among them is the Hunter 350. It will share its underpinnings with the RE Meteor 350 and the Classic 350.
It has already been spied doing multiple test runs and its roadster stance and styling have already caught our fancy. It is being assumed that it will undercut the Meteor 350 and the Classic 350 to become the most affordable RE.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650
Although we could have also included the Shotgun 650 but it is the Super Meteor 650 that looks closer to production.
It will utilize the same 650cc parallel-twin powertrain that does the job in the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. However, spy shots have revealed that this low-slung cruiser might get USD forks up front.
