Honda Cars India has launched the WR-V facelift in India. The updated crossover now gets tweaks to the exterior styling and BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engines. These include a new chrome grille, LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs, LED fog lamps and LED rear combination lamps. There’s also the newly designed R16 dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, Louver type front grille and shark fin antenna. Honda has also made a couple of updates on the inside. The BS6-compliant WR-V now comes equipped with new seat upholstery with an emboss & mesh design as well as chrome accents to the cabin. The 2020 WR-V comes in two variants – SV and VX for both the petrol and diesel variants. Honda has priced the WR-V from Rs 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) to Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The BS6-compliant petrol variant s powered by 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that delivers 89bhp 110Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to Honda’s five-speed manual transmission and delivers a claimed fuel efficiency figure of 16.5 kmpl. On the other hand, the BS6-compliant diesel variant is powered by the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine of Earth Dream Technology series and delivers claimed fuel efficiency figure of 23.7 kmpl. It delivers 98bhp and 200Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

Honda WR-V features advanced equipment like the one-touch electric sunroof, auto AC with touchscreen control panel, multi-information combimeter with ECO ASSIST ambient rings, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio, voice, handsfree and cruise control switches. The updated WR-V also sports seven-inch advanced touchscreen audio, video and navigation system comes with smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also offers in-built satellite-linked turn-by-turn navigation, live traffic support through USB Wi-Fi receiver.

On the safety front, the WR-V comes with Honda’s own ACE body structure, Dual SRS airbags for driver and front passenger, standard Anti-lock brake system (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Multi-View (Normal, Wide and Top-Down view) Rear camera with guidelines, rear parking sensor, rear windshield defogger, ECU Immobiliser System, driver side window one-touch up/down operation with pinch guard, impact mitigating front headrests, pedestrian injury mitigation technology – all are offered as standard in the New WR-V.

The Honda WR-V is available with a choice of six colour options – Premium Amber Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic and Platinum White Pearl. Furthermore, Honda offers the WR-V with three-years (unlimited kilometres) warranty as standard.
