Hyundai sells one lakh units of the Venue in 12 months

Hyundai Motor India celebrates a successful first year of its sub-four-metre compact SUV – Venue. Over one lakh units since its launch last year, with over 97400 customers in India & more than 7400 customers globally. Hyundai tells us that the Venue is the highest-selling sub-four-metre compact SUV during CY 2020 in India (Jan-May). Furthermore, nearly 44 percent of Venue sales come from Hyundai’s Kappa 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine.

There are some other interesting facts from the Hyundai Venue sales figures too. Over 15000 units sold of the Kappa 1.0-litre T-GDi engine mated with seven-speed DCT transmission that offers customers a ‘sportier’ experience., Also, 30 percent plus sales contribution comes from the BS6-compliant 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine (Mar-Jun 2020). Last but certainly not least, 30000 customers opted for Venue variants with Hyundai’s BlueLink Connected Technology.
