Kia India has rolled out a new scheme called the Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme for potential customers of the Kia Carnival. Under this initiative, private owners have the option to return the MPV within the first 30 days of its purchase in case they are displeased with the car. Kia has also stated that this scheme is valid for all variants of the Carnival sold in India.

Under this scheme, eligible customers can return the vehicle within 30 days and procure 95% of the ex-showroom cost and overhead cost incurred for the vehicle’s registration and finances. Bear in mind that customers have to meet specific criteria while returning the car. Criteria’s include that the vehicle cannot have clocked more than 1,500 kilometres from the purchase date and is completely free of damages, failures and pending claims. Additionally, the owner’s agreement for the transfer of the vehicle, including all documentation & charges, etc., will be obligatory in that person’s name. It will also be imperative that the car is free from any pending loans, and the financer’s NOC should be submitted to Kia India.

Speaking on the industry-first initiative, Mr Tae-Jin Park, Executive Director & CSBO, Kia India, said, “Last month, we introduced our new brand purpose of inspiring consumers through products and services, and their experiences with the brand. The ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’ is the first step to bring this purpose to life and is designed to offer a differentiated Kia ownership experience to our customers, prioritizing their peace of mind during these testing times. The growing popularity of our class-leading MPV has been extremely encouraging for us and this initiative aims to enhance customer belief in Kia Carnival even further.”

At present, this scheme is only applicable to the Carnival and not the Sonet or the Seltos. Kia India has not made any remarks about when this scheme would be implemented to the other vehicles sold by the automaker. During such challenging times when the automotive sector has faced such a massive slowdown, this scheme could certainly help Kia achieve some decent sales numbers for the Carnival.
