The Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD goes topless! Not exactly, but the latest raging bull is a convertible – allowing you to hear the naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 that puts out 600bhp, 560Nm of torque. This allows the Huracan EVO RWD Spyder to do the 0-100kmph sprint in just 3.5 seconds; top speed is limited to 324kmph. To keep up with that power and torque, the new Spyder comes with a seven-speed LDF dual-clutch transmission. It also comes equipped with a specially tuned Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS). And that’s just the beginning of a long list of equipment that makes the new Spyder go really fast.

Another example is the body, which on the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder is aluminium and thermoplastic resin. This sits on a lightweight hybrid chassis finished in aluminium and carbon fibre. Bear in mind, the Spyder’s dry weight is just 1,509 kilograms, which certainly makes things interesting. The braking is handled by ventilated and cross-drilled steel discs fitted to 19-inch Kari rims with specially-developed Pirelli P Zero tyres.

The Spyder’s roof can be operated at speeds of up to 50kmph and it takes a total of 17 seconds to stow away. Also, the electronic rear window can be operated irrespective of the roof position, which is a nice touch. This is also the first time Lamborghini has used AR to launch a product on their website.
