Lexus India has launched a limited-edition model of its sports coupe- the LC 500h and is inspired by the graceful flight of birds and aeroplanes. The LC 500h is offered at a starting price of Rs 2.15 crore (ex-showroom, India).
The limited-edition LC 500h is created in collaboration with air race pilot Yoshihide Muroya and Lexus engineers. It has an all-black grille, black carbon fibre rear wing, 21-inch black forged alloy wheels and a carbon-fibre scuff plate that integrates the LC silhouette and lettering that reads “LC Limited Edition” & “LEXUS. On the inside, The LC 500h is laden with black alcantara trimmed seats that feature elegant Saddle Tan accents and seat belts. Even the steering wheel, shift lever and door trims are also accented in black alcantara trim. The limited-edition LC 500h retains the 3.5-litre V6 producing an output of 354bhp and 350Nm mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox, sending power to the rear wheels. Lexus claims a 0 to 100 km/h time of 4.7 seconds.

The Lexus LC 500h limited edition competes in an exclusive segment which consists of the BMW M8, Jaguar F-Type, Maserati GranTurismo, Porsche 911 and the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe.
