Mahindra is soon going to go all guns blazing with its ‘Born Electric Vision’ range of EVs. After dropping the first teaser of its upcoming three electric SUV concepts last month, Mahindra has now provided us with some more information to get our hearts racing. Ahead of their official unveiling in July this year, the company has lent us a sneak peek inside the upcoming electric SUVs.

Mahindra recently roped in Pratap Bose who’s a force to reckon with when it comes to automotive design. It is worth noting here that Bose is heading Mahindra’s UK-based design unit and this vertical is responsible for the design of the interior.

Mahindra hasn’t revealed which specific model the teased interior image belongs so assumptions are ripe that the upcoming electric compact SUV, a mid-size SUV and SUV coupe are going to adopt the same design philosophy. One glance is enough to draw the conclusion that these upcoming EVs will borrow some of the elements from XUV700’s AdrenoX-fused dual infotainment screen.

Mahindra has taken a rather minimalistic approach when it comes to the overall design of the dashboard. The AC vents are neatly integrated in the dashboard while the steering wheel’s design is a hexagonal, two-spoke affair. One cannot help but also notice a rotary knob and a sleek automatic gear lever in the middle.

Mahindra has already made it public that it is developing a new, bespoke electric platform that will spawn a variety of vehicles catering to a varying set of SUV aficionados. Mahindra might also debut its new range of advanced features with its upcoming electric SUVs. We have already witnessed Mahindra loading the XUV700 to the gills with safety features and creature comforts. Expect the same treatment to get carried to the upcoming EVs as well. While the concept version of these EVs will break cover in July this year, expect the production-spec models to hit the streets sometime next year.
