MG is all set to launch the all-new ZS EV that aims to keep in line with the global design while also bringing in globally available features. The ZS EV now gets a new covered front grille that houses the charging socket and a new 17-inch wheel design. Introduced back in 2020, the ZS EV quickly paved its way into the hearts and garages of many EV buyers, claiming to have sold about 4000 of them to this date.
2022 MG ZS EVMG has updated the overall design with a new fascia, LED headlamps, new allows, a new front bumper and a new tail-light design to spice things up. Along with the ZS EV, MG has introduced a 5-way charging ecosystem including free-of-cost AC fast-charger at residences /offices, portable in-car charging cable, DC superfast charging stations at dealerships, 24×7 charge-on-the-go facility (in 5 cities), and charging stations in satellite cities and tourist hubs for its customers.

2022 MG ZS EVIn its current avatar, the MG ZS EV is powered by a 44.5 kWh battery that helps propel this EV from 0-100 kmph in 8.5 seconds. The ZS EV produces about 143 bhp of power and 353 Nm of torque while offering a range of about 420 Kms. The ZS EV can also be charged with a 50 kW DC fast charger that claims to charge up to 80% in just 50 minutes compared to the 8 hours it can take using a standard AC charger.
