Bajaj to Launch India's First CNG Motorcycle on 18th June!

Get ready for a revolution in two-wheeler mobility! Bajaj Auto is all set to launch India's first-ever CNG motorcycle, the Bajaj Bruzer (tentative) on June 18, 2024. This innovative offering promises a greener and significantly cheaper commute, making it a game-changer for budget-conscious riders.

Here's what we know so far about Bajaj First CNG Motorcycle:

  • Power on a Budget

The Bruzer is expected to be priced around Rs. 80,000 (ex-showroom), making it a compelling option compared to conventional petrol bikes. But the real saving comes in running costs. CNG prices are lower than petrol in India, translating to substantial savings on every trip.

  • Performance Packed

Equipped with a 110cc CNG engine, the Bruzer is expected to deliver performance similar to its petrol counterparts in the 100-110cc segment. This means you can expect good city riding manners with enough pep for navigating traffic. The long, single-piece seat and mid-set footpegs ensure a comfortable riding posture, perfect for daily commutes.

  •  CNG with Convenience

The Bruzer boasts a sleek design with a long CNG tank integrated into the frame for a balanced ride. A digital display keeps you informed on mileage, fuel gauge, and other essential information. A small petrol tank, likely placed near the engine area, acts as a backup for those unexpected situations when you run out of CNG. Switching between CNG and petrol is likely to be a manual process for cost-effectiveness, similar to a reserve fuel tap on a regular motorcycle.

  • Safety First

The Bruzer prioritizes safety with a braced handlebar with knuckle guards for better grip and protection in case of a fall. Telescopic forks at the front and a mono shock at the rear ensure a comfortable ride and good handling. Disc brakes at the front provide ample stopping power, while drum brakes at the rear keep the cost in check. The upswept exhaust prevents heat from reaching your legs, and a crash guard offers additional protection in a minor collision.

Breaking New Ground:

The Bruzer isn't just another motorcycle; it's a pioneering effort. While it won't have direct competition in the CNG space, it challenges established players in the 100-110cc segment like the Hero Splendor Plus and Bajaj Platina with its focus on fuel efficiency and eco-friendly credentials. With CNG being a cleaner burning fuel compared to petrol, the Bruzer reduces emissions and helps combat air pollution in urban areas.

A Glimpse into the Future:

The Bajaj Bruzer marks a significant step towards a greener future for two-wheeler transportation in India. With its focus on affordability, fuel efficiency, and eco-friendliness, the Bruzer is poised to be a popular choice for millions of Indian riders.
