New F1 Movie Starring Brad Pitt Set for Theatrical Release: Everything You Need to Know

Apple Original Films and Formula 1 have officially announced the title of their much-anticipated movie centered around the world of Formula 1 racing. Simply named "F1," this upcoming film is directed by Joseph Kosinski and has an impressive production team including Jerry Bruckheimer, Brad Pitt, and seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton. Scheduled for an international theatrical release in IMAX on June 25, 2025, and in North America on June 27, 2025, "F1".

Brad Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes, a former Formula 1 driver who returns to the sport to mentor rookie teammate Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris. The fictional APXGP team will see their partnership unfold amidst the high-stakes drama of F1 racing. The film also features a cast including Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo.

Filming for "F1" has been taking place at real Formula 1 events, adding authenticity to the movie. The crew was recently seen capturing footage at the British Grand Prix, enhancing the realism of the racing scenes.
