Ola Electric has revealed its plans to provide a charging network solution across India to all its electric two-wheeler customers by unveiling the Ola Hypercharger network for its upcoming two-wheeler products, starting with the Ola Scooter to which is due to launch soon.
They will offer the most comprehensive set of charging options to their electric vehicle customers through a combination of widely deployed high-speed Ola Hyperchargers and the home-charger that will come bundled with the Ola Scooter.
Ola claims that once set up, the Hypercharger network will be the most expansive and densest electric two-wheeler charging network in the world, with more than 1 Lakh charging touchpoints spread across 400 cities. By the first year itself, Ola has planned at setting up over 5000 charging points across 100 cities in India which would double the existing two-wheeler charging infrastructure in the country.
The brand also claims that this will the fastest two-wheeler charging network providing the Ola scooter with 50% of charge in just 18 mins, accumulating to 75kms of range. These Hyperchargers are to be present in various spaces such as city centres, business districts, malls, IT parks, office complexes, cafes and plenty more areas.

Our plans to build a comprehensive charging network is a key piece of this. By creating the world’s largest and densest 2-wheeler charging network, we will dramatically accelerate the customer adoption of electric vehicles and rapidly move the industry to electric.”
The Ola Hypercharger network wises to offer an effortless and seamless charging experience to customers who will have to arrive at the location, plug in their scooter to charge and later monitor the progress and make payments via the mobile app currently under development by Ola.
