French automaker Renault has commenced exports of its sub-four meter compact SUV, the Renault Kiger, to Nepal. The all-new Kiger will be offered in Nepal through Renault’s distributor – Advanced Automobiles Pvt. Ltd, part of Vaishal Group, one of Renault’s largest dealership network in Nepal. Renault has extensive coverage with 15 sales and 13 service outlets across Nepal.

The export version of the Renault Kiger is the same as the version sold in India and is offered with two engine options. A 72hp naturally-aspirated 1.0-litre engine and a 100hp turbocharged 1.0-litre engine. Both engines are available with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. The turbo-petrol is available also offered with the choice of a CVT automatic gearbox.

Renault India is also working on substantially increasing its network reach across India and expanding its current portfolio present in the country. The brand has introduced several unique initiatives to ensure that customers’ have a close connection with the automaker. Currently, Renault India has more than 500 sales and service touchpoints in India, including 200+ Workshop On Wheels locations across the country.
