Buying a Skoda in India just got a whole lot easier! Skoda’s digital purchase ecosystem in the country began with the introduction of the Octavia RS 245 earlier this year. Thanks to the overwhelming response, the Czech marque has decided to broaden the scope of its centralized booking platform by including its entire range of products in India. Skoda has also opened up bookings for the new Superb facelift and the much-awaited Karoq compact SUV against a refundable amount of Rs 50,000. The new Rapid 1.0-litre TSI booking amount stands at Rs 25,000.
Zac Hollis, Brand Director – Skoda Auto India, said, “We championed an online sales experience with the launch of the Octavia RS 245. The results were astonishing, and the two hundred units of the RS 245 sold out in a jiffy! It has compelled the brand to extend the facility across its product portfolio. The move is apt and acknowledges the demand for a contactless experience. Skoda Auto will continue to support the nation’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic with numerous CSR initiatives.
Furthermore, Skoda stresses that the portal is designed keeping in mind the expectations of its customers. The experience is said to be a transparent and contactless one, with a commitment to deliver vehicles in wake of the coronavirus pandemic. This would help secure the health and safety of its employees as well as its patrons. To add to this, the online system is supported by a consultation programme which integrates over 80 Skoda dealership touchpoints across the country.
