Attention enthusiasts! There’s a brand new Harley-Davidson just around the corner. In fact, it’s set to arrive on July 13th, 2021. So, what do we know about it? Well, nothing except for the fact that it will be powered by the company’s all-new Revolution Max powertrain. FYI, that’s the 1,252cc, liquid-cooled, V-twin engine from the Pan America 1250. In the said ADV, it churns out 148 bhp & 128 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Harley-Davidson’s official press release states that their virtual launch experience dubbed ‘From Evolution to Revolution’ will include preview details of the new motorcycle and include presentations by Harley-Davidson leadership, product experts and passionate riders.
“Following the successful launch of our first adventure touring motorcycle, the Pan America, we are excited to reveal another all-new motorcycle, built on the Revolution Max platform in the sport segment, showcasing unmatched Harley-Davidson technology, performance and style,” said Jochen Zeitz, chairman, president, and CEO of Harley-Davidson.
The important point to note there is the fact that this new motorcycle will lie in the ‘sport’ segment. Could this be a more production-ready version of the 1250 Custom prototype from the past? A number of highly reputed publication certainly seem to feel so, and we’re inclined to agree. Especially since this model is already listed under the ‘Future Vehicles’ section on their website. Or maybe it’s a reworked version of the Bronx streetfighter we’ll get to see? Maybe there’s a whole new third option we don’t know about at all. Moreover, what do you feel this next new motorcycle will be? If you wish to sign up for this virtual event, simply head over to Harley-Davidson’s website. To look at the bright side, either way, we can’t lose.
