Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is the first automaker in India to introduce a ‘Door Delivery’ option for its customers to procure Toyota genuine parts. The automaker had introduced an outreach program called ‘Toyota Parts Connect’ back in 2015, which assisted the customers with the availability and accessibility of genuine parts. However, with the introduction of this new ‘Door Delivery’p program, Toyota states that they plan to improve the customer’s convenience and provide a seamless experience to its customers with this ‘Door Delivery’ program.

Using this ‘Door Delivery’ program, customers can either pick the parts themselves from the dealerships or have them delivered to their homes. The automaker has also increased the range of products under this program, which includes car care essentials, engine oil, and other things such as tyre, battery, and other wear and tear parts. At present, this service is only available in 12 cities across India, but Toyota plan on expanding this service to all the cities in the country by the end of 2021.

Commenting on the introduction of this new value proposition, Mr Naveen Soni, Senior Vice President, said,”  “With the launch of this initiative, we have achieved yet another milestone towards our commitment to providing the best customer experience. Genuine parts play a vital role towards the safety of customers and vehicles. Therefore, it’s our continuous endeavour to improve the accessibility and availability of genuine parts for a user-friendly experience. This initiative will further help us to move one step ahead in providing expediency in procuring genuine parts and other vehicle-related parts, making it an easy and stress-free process for our customers.
