Volkswagen India appoints Abbey Thomas as Head of Marketing

Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has announced the appointment of Abbey Thomas as Head of Marketing today. The German automaker states that he will be spearheading the marketing strategy for the brand in India. Thomas has previously worked with Audi India as Head of Planning (Product & Sales) and has over 25 years of experience in the automobile industry. He had joined the Volkswagen Group back in 2011 and has ranked up by leading various Marketing and Product functions.

Meanwhile, Bishwajeet Samal will be heading to Volkswagen Headquarter in Germany for his new assignment. The company took this opportunity to thank him for his valuable contribution to the Indian operations of Volkswagen Passenger Cars.
