Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP Unveiled at EICMA 2026

Ducati has unveiled the Streetfighter V4 SP at EICMA 2026, introducing a numbered and more track-focused version of its flagship hypernaked motorcycle. Building on the performance credentials of the Streetfighter V4, the SP variant gets several racing-derived upgrades, including a dry clutch, carbon-fibre wheels, premium Öhlins suspension and upgraded braking hardware.

Here's everything you need to know about the new Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP.

Design and Equipment

The Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP gets a distinctive matte Winter Test livery inspired by the motorcycles used by Ducati Corse during MotoGP and Superbike winter testing. The finish leaves the aluminium fuel tank exposed, adding to its race-bike-inspired appearance. Each motorcycle also gets an individual serial number engraved on the steering head, highlighting its limited and numbered status.

One of the biggest upgrades is the addition of five split-spoke carbon-fibre wheels. Compared to the forged aluminium wheels on the Streetfighter V4 S, these wheels save 950 grams of unsprung mass. They also reduce the moment of inertia by 12 per cent at the front and 19 per cent at the rear, promising improved responsiveness and agility.

Engine and Performance

Powering the Streetfighter V4 SP is Ducati's 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, producing 214hp at 13,500rpm and 120Nm of peak torque at 11,250rpm.

A significant mechanical update is the introduction of an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch, replacing the conventional wet multi-plate clutch. The dry clutch is designed to improve slipper clutch operation during aggressive riding and deliver smoother engagement, particularly when riding on the track.

Ducati also claims that using its Corse Performance Oil can increase the engine's output by an additional 3.5hp.

The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 188kg without fuel, with the lightweight carbon-fibre wheels contributing to its reduced mass and improved handling characteristics.

Suspension and Braking Hardware

The Streetfighter V4 SP is equipped with Öhlins suspension and a steering damper, managed by the third-generation Smart EC 3.0 electronic suspension system. It also gets the new OBTi interface, allowing riders to customise suspension settings according to different riding conditions, whether on the road or the racetrack.

Braking duties are handled by twin 330mm front discs paired with Brembo Hypure callipers. Ducati has also equipped the motorcycle with dedicated carbon-fibre brake cooling ducts and a Brembo MCS radial master cylinder. The latter allows riders to select between three different lever-feel configurations and adjust the lever distance from the handlebar.

Further highlighting its track-focused intent are fully machined, adjustable aluminium footpegs. These allow riders to switch between a conventional and reverse gear-shift pattern. Ducati also includes a kit to remove the number plate holder for track use.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP: What Makes It Special?

The new Streetfighter V4 SP takes the already potent Streetfighter V4 platform further with a combination of lightweight components, racing-derived hardware and track-focused mechanical upgrades. The carbon-fibre wheels, dry clutch, Öhlins electronic suspension and Brembo braking components make it the most extreme iteration of the Streetfighter V4 range unveiled at EICMA 2026.

While its 214hp output remains the headline figure, it is the extensive weight-saving measures and chassis upgrades that distinguish the SP version.
