TVS Racing is taking its customer racing programme beyond familiar territory. The third season of the TVS Apache Racing Experience GP (ARE GP) International will span seven countries, adding Morocco, Egypt and Ivory Coast to a championship that already covers India, Mexico, Colombia and Nepal. The 2026-27 season begins on November 15, with TVS targeting more than 1,200 participants across 20 cities.
The expansion marks the next step for a programme that began in 2007 as a way for TVS Apache owners to experience competitive racing in a controlled, professional environment. In 2023, TVS Racing turned it into a structured championship. The previous season took the series beyond India for the first time, with events across Mexico, Colombia and Nepal, alongside India.
For Season 3, the focus is on widening participation while retaining the competitive format. The championship will feature multiple categories for customer and media riders, with dedicated categories for women. TVS says the programme has engaged more than 4,000 participants since its inception, reaching 20 cities.
The racing categories will use motorcycles from the Apache range, including the Apache RTR 200, Apache RR 310 and Apache RTR 310. The format covers customer racing in the 200cc and 310cc categories, alongside separate media categories for novice and expert riders. Women's participation is also part of the championship, building on the category introduced in the previous season.
There is more at stake than a podium finish. The rewards include an all-expenses-paid trip to a MotoGP event in Asia for category winners, while runners-up will receive MotoGP tickets and accommodation. The championship also offers a potential route into more serious competition, with wild-card entries to selected rounds of the TVS One-Make Championship for winners in the racing categories.
The calendar begins in India in November, with rounds scheduled in Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Jaipur, alongside an event in Morocco. Further rounds are planned across India and overseas through January, February and March 2027, culminating in the season finale at the Madras International Circuit in Chennai on April 11.
TVS Racing has been building its motorsport credentials since 1982, and the ARE GP is an extension of that racing culture beyond factory teams and professional riders. The idea is straightforward: give customers a structured route from owning a performance motorcycle to experiencing competition on a racetrack.
Expanding across seven countries gives the programme a wider international footprint, but its success will ultimately depend on participation and the opportunities it creates for riders. With more than 1,200 participants expected this season, TVS is betting that grassroots motorsport can grow by making the first step onto a starting grid more accessible.
