An American outfit known for turning luxury cars into off-road machines has unveiled its boldest project yet. Meet the Elevato, GlasWerks DMV’s lifted trail-ready Ferrari GTC4Lusso, revealed at the 2025 SEMA show.
The Maryland-based specialist started with the 6.3-litre V12 version of Ferrari’s four-seater and raised its power output from 681 bhp to 750 bhp. That is serious muscle for a car now offering eight inches of wheel travel and nine inches of ground clearance, figures more in line with rally stages than racetracks.
The transformation involves more than cosmetic tweaks. Each GTC4Lusso is stripped down before over 30 percent of its components are replaced or re-engineered. The suspension is completely redesigned with billet aluminium control arms, stronger axles, upgraded CV joints and reinforced tie rods. Underbody cladding and mudflaps complete the conversion, hinting at real off-road intent.
Buyers can specify spring rates, suspension setups, roof racks, custom Inconel exhausts and rock guards. Paint protection film comes standard to handle the gravel and grit this Ferrari might face.
GlasWerks DMV’s engineering team includes veterans from Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Latin America division and GT3 racing outfits, bringing competition-level experience to the project. The company has also run in the 24 Hours of Appalachia, a 400 to 500-mile off-road endurance rally in the US.
According to co-founder Joshua Sroka, the team wanted to build something that balances comfort with real off-road ability. Two prototypes were developed simultaneously, one set up for worn tarmac and gravel, while the other focuses on trail use.
