Wood & Pickett Mini by Callum | The ultimate Mini restomod!

Ladies and gentlemen, lay your eyes on the gorgeous Wood & Pickett Mini by Callum designs. Based on a fully restored Mk5 Sportpack Mini Cooper, prices for the Wood and Pickett Mini start at ₹88.2 lakh, before Indian taxes, duties and extras. The car features extensive modifications to the exterior, including an updated front fascia, side sills and rear-end. It gets a more streamlined look, with neatly integrated, original, Wood & Pickett wheel arches and flush-fit body panels. It gets modern LED lighting all around and anthracite finish on all the metal panels. The supermini rides on a set of sweet bespoke 13-inch five-spoke wheels, with a deep dish look, which suit the car really well.

The very first example of this resto-modded Mini has been built for pop star and automotive enthusiast David Gandy. It wears a striking metallic brown shade with dark brown stripes running down its centre. On the inside, it gets Wood and Pickett’s famed “Margrave” interior upholstery, a ‘Piano’ switch pack with metal surroundings and white instrument binnacles with colour contrast orange needles and metal bezels. Taking centre stage on the vertical dash is a landscape touchscreen, with Apple CarPlay connectivity. The bucket seats are trimmed with Brown leather, and get chequered pattern inserts on the centre. For a quieter driving experience, there's also added NVH padding to make David’s drive more silent.

Under the hood, there's a 1.3-litre naturally aspirated and transversely placed four-cylinder engine which churns out 110bhp, and while that may not seem a lot, this mill doesn't have a lot to haul. It's paired to a manual gearbox, with a metal gear selector and gets a re-tuned ECU for responsive power delivery. The engine has been overhauled with a new cylinder head, twin-point injection, and a bespoke twin-exit exhaust system with an upswept tailpipe design. The car sits on a road tuned suspension kit, and stopping power for it is provided by 8.4-inch vented disc brakes all around.

“The Mini is one of the most important cars ever created not just for its innovative engineering, but for what it represents culturally as a symbol of British ingenuity and style. It’s a car that broke the rules and became a global icon. To reimagine it through the lens of CALLUM, with Wood and Pickett’s craftsmanship, has been deeply rewarding,” say Ian Callum.

It will be built in limited numbers , andfor the lucky few, will be an insanely fun toy to hoot around whenever they'll get behind its wheel.
