Ducati Launches 2025 Multistrada V4 in India

Ducati India has launched the updated 2025 Multistrada V4 and V4 S. Available in three colours—Ducati Red, Thrilling Black, and Arctic White, the motorcycles are priced between Rs 22.98 lakh and Rs 30.18 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Engine and Efficiency

At the heart of the Multistrada V4 is the 1,158 cc Granturismo V4 engine, producing 170 hp and 123.8 Nm of torque. The extended cylinder deactivation system, active even while the bike is in motion, improves fuel efficiency by up to 6% compared to the outgoing version. Service intervals remain a standout feature, with valve clearance checks every 60,000 km.

Handling and Comfort

One of the most significant updates is the Automatic Lowering Device, which reduces seat height by up to 30 mm at low speeds, improving accessibility for riders. The V4 S variant also benefits from semi-active Skyhook DSS EVO suspension with predictive functions like bump detection.

Passenger comfort has been improved by repositioning the panniers and top case for additional legroom, while multiple seat height options make the bike more adaptable for touring couples.

Safety and Rider Aids

The Multistrada V4 S continues to lead in safety technology. It features adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, and now adds forward collision warning to alert riders of potential hazards ahead. The Ducati Brake Light system has also been updated to activate indicators during hard braking, improving visibility for following traffic.

Other rider aids include Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO), traction control, wheelie control, cornering ABS, and three levels of engine brake control. The 6.5-inch TFT display integrates Ducati Connect, offering navigation, calls, and music.

Design Updates

The 2025 model sports a redesigned front end, drawing inspiration from the Panigale V4, with a sharper headlight cluster and more aggressive proportions. A new silencer design and refreshed livery reinforce the Multistrada’s sporting character.

Riding Modes for All Terrains

Five riding modes—Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro, and the newly introduced Wet mode—allow the bike to adapt to diverse conditions. Enduro mode limits power to 114 hp and optimises traction and braking for off-road use, while Wet mode enhances control on low-grip surfaces.

Pricing and Availability

The Multistrada V4 and V4 S are now available at Ducati dealerships across India. Prices start at Rs 22.98 lakh for the standard Multistrada V4 and go up to Rs 30.18 lakh for the V4 S with spoked wheels.

Conclusion

With its blend of high-performance engineering, advanced safety features, and improved comfort, the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 cements its place as one of the most technologically advanced adventure tourers in India. Whether on highways, mountain passes, or off-road trails, it aims to deliver a versatile riding experience that few rivals can match.
