Hyundai i20 Facelift Launched | Prices Start At Rs 6.69 Lakhs

South Korean automajor Hyundai Motors has finally updated its premium hatchback, i20, for the Indian market. Hyundai i20 has already raised the bar higher for the premium hatchback segment with its feature-loaded package, and now the brand wants to make it even more compelling with the relevant updates. The price for the i20 starts at Rs 6.99 lakh, going up to Rs 11.01 lakh for the top-end variant.  

The familiar silhouette of the Hyundai i20 remains intact, but now features updated LED headlamps that include Signature LED DRLs.The front bumper features two sizeable inlets shaped like arrows on both sides. Additionally, the redesigned 2D Hyundai logo has been relocated from its current position on the grille to the lower portion of the bonnet. From the sides, it almost remains the same apart from the new design language for 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, one that will catch your eye would be the revised design and a faux silver skid plate. The Hyundai i20 has added a bold new Amazon Grey colour to its current lineup of Atlas White, Titan Gray, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, and Fiery Red shades. Moreover, customers can choose from two dual-tone options: Atlas White with a Black Roof or Fiery Red with a Black Roof.

In terms of interiors and features, the new Hyundai i20 reveals the new dual-tone grey and black interiors. To keep it more likeable, Hyundai has provided ambient lighting, a BOSE premium seven-speaker system, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system. In terms of safety, it has all the basic necessary equipment and more to keep the passenger safe and secure. Despite the safety list, using seat belts while driving is always necessary. 

The new Hyundai i20 will get only one petrol engine option. It is a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated motor that develops 83hp of power with the MT transmission and 88hp of power with the CVT automatic transmission. The car rivals Tata Altroz, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Toyota Glanza .
