Kia EV3: Compact EV SUV teased globally

Kia has released teaser images of its upcoming EV3, which is a compact EV SUV. Not a lot has been revealed in the images however, but it can be seen that the EV3’s styling is inspired by the design language of the EV9, Kia’s flagship SUV. The exterior gets elements such as the signature Star Map lighting as well as the boxy rear fenders and tail gate.

While it is yet to be confirmed whether the EV3 will make it to India, in terms of positioning, the compact SUV will likely rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, the Skoda Kushaq, the Volkswagen Taigun and the Kia Seltos. 

While no details about the battery pack and range have been revealed yet, you can expect the Kia EV3 to be specced similarly to the Hyundai Creta EV, which is undergoing testing and is rumoured to be launched later this year.
