2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally unveiled

There's a new Multistrada in town, well, sort of... After the manic V4 RS which came out last month, Ducati has now introduced the 2026 V4 Rally to its updated Multistrada V4 range. It's got a few updates, aimed at making it an even more capable and comfortable adventure-tourer, but it retains everything that we love about it.

At the heart of the machine is the tried and tested Granturismo V4 engine, producing 168bhp and 121Nm of torque. This mill gets a clever feature — cylinder deactivation: the rear cylinders can switch off automatically when the bike is idling or moving slowly, and this helps improve fuel efficiency, especially in city traffic or while taking a break on long rides.

On the suspension front, it gets a semi-active Marzocchi setup at both ends, with Ducati's Adaptive Skyhook EVO system that's retuned to adjust the ride based on road conditions. It's a fully automatic setup and can adjusts compression and rebound on the fly. You now get 200mm of travel at both ends, over the standard model and this improves off-roadability.

Braking performance has been improved with a larger 280mm rear disc, up from a 265mm unit, and there’s a redesigned centre stand to make handling the bike easier when you're trying to park it on uneven ground.

It continues with three variants: Radar, Adventure Travel & Radar, and Full Adventure. And continues with clever kit like radar technology which enables forward collision warnings, adaptive cruise control and blind spot alert. The tech features don’t stop there. The bike includes a 6.5-inch display, cornering lights that adapt while turning, and rider assistance systems like cornering ABS, traction control, and wheelie control.

One of the visual highlights is a brand-new green colour option, paired with gold wheels — a fresh and striking look for the new year.

While the changes to the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally are subtle, they build upon an already excellent foundation. This bike was highly regarded for its long-distance touring ability, and now, with these thoughtful updates, it is arguably better than ever. It's still one of the best long-distance bikes you can ever buy, period.
