CF Moto 800MT-ES unveiled with semi-active suspension

CFMoto has introduced the 2026 800MT-ES, a new version of its middleweight adventure motorcycle. The key update on this model is the addition of semi-active suspension, a system that adjusts itself automatically as road conditions change. This allows the motorcycle to maintain a steady ride without the rider needing to stop and make manual changes.

The suspension system works on both the front and rear of the motorcycle. It responds to factors such as road surface, speed and movement, helping the bike remain stable on smooth roads as well as uneven sections. This feature is aimed at riders who travel long distances or ride on mixed terrain.

The motorcycle is powered by a 799cc twin-cylinder engine. The engine produces around 90bhp and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Power delivery is smooth and consistent, making the bike suitable for highway travel, city use and open roads. A slipper clutch helps reduce sudden engine braking during downshifts.

The 800MT-ES includes electronic assistance systems designed to improve safety and control. These systems monitor how the bike moves and adjust traction and braking support when needed. Multiple riding modes allow riders to select settings based on road conditions, such as wet or dry surfaces.

A large colour display is fitted to the dashboard, providing clear information such as speed, navigation and riding mode selection. The motorcycle uses full LED lighting for the headlamp, tail lamp and indicators, improving visibility in low-light conditions.

Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends, supported by anti-lock braking that remains active even while cornering. This helps maintain control during sudden braking or when riding on slippery roads.

The 800MT-ES is designed for comfort during extended rides. It features an upright riding position, wide handlebars and a seat designed to support long hours in the saddle. A fuel tank capacity of 19 litres allows for longer distances between refuelling stops.

In terms of size and weight, the motorcycle remains competitive within its segment. Despite the added technology, it is designed to remain manageable at low speeds and during everyday use. Wheel sizes are suited for road riding as well as light off-road conditions.

The design of the 800MT-ES follows a functional approach. Body panels are shaped to provide wind protection, while the overall styling remains clean and purposeful. Colour options include Neptune Blue and Nebula White.

The 2026 CFMoto 800MT-ES has been introduced in select international markets, with availability varying by region. Pricing details have not yet been confirmed for all countries.

With the addition of semi-active suspension and a strong set of standard features, the 800MT-ES expands CFMoto’s presence in the middleweight adventure motorcycle category. The model focuses on adaptability, comfort and safety for riders seeking a practical touring motorcycle.
