KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track unveiled

KTM has unveiled its first track-only Duke model, the KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track. Limited to just 100 units globally, it gets a revised engine with a ram-air intake, MotoGP-derived WP suspension, and Michelin slick tyres.

How much power is too much power?

KTM motorcycles are known for their explosive power delivery, and the 2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track is the maxed-out version of that philosophy. It's powered by a 1350cc LC8 V-twin producing 200bhp and 151Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter. KTM has also equipped it with a full-system Akrapovic titanium race exhaust, which not only amplifies the sound but also optimises airflow for better performance.

It's 23kg lighter than the standard model!

The 1390 Super Duke RR Track is 23kg lighter than the standard Super Duke and 9kg lighter than the RR. It gets lightweight 17-inch forged magnesium wheels that are 1.5kg lighter than the standard cast wheels, reducing unsprung mass. It also gets special top-of-the-line Michelin performance slick tyres. It also gets carbon fibre winglets to increase downforce and reduce the front wheel lift.

Suspension duties are handled by a MotoGP-inspired, electronically adjustable WP Pro front fork and a fully adjustable WP Pro monoshock at the rear. Alongside top-of-the-line suspension hardware, the Super Duke also gets superbike-spec Brembo braking hardware. It gets Corsa Corta master cylinders with Brembo GP4 MS Monobloc four-piston, radially mounted calipers up front with twin 320mm T-Drive discs, and a Brembo P2.34 two-piston fixed caliper with a 240mm disc at the rear.

Reduced electronics for a pure track experience

The KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track is equipped with a new 4.2-inch full-colour TFT with a special coating to reduce glare and increase visibility in all lighting conditions. It also gets a special mode that only displays the rpm and speed for better focus on the track. Other features include three dedicated track riding modes, a lap timer, multiple traction control modes, wheelie control, and engine brake control.

Prices and rivals

The price of the KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track has not been revealed yet, but expect to pay eye-watering figures for this exotic Austrian track weapon. Its main rivals will be the Kawasaki Z H2, BMW M 1000 R, and Ducati Streetfighter V4 S.
