BMW has launched the new X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro in India at Rs 74.50 lakh ex-showroom. It is locally produced in Chennai and now sits at the top of the petrol X3 line-up, above the 20i and alongside the 20d diesel.
What’s new on the outside
The X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro gets a fully blacked-out kidney grille with Iconic Glow illumination, new adaptive LED headlamps with high beam assist and cornering function, and 20-inch M alloy wheels as standard.

Dimensionally, it measures 4,755 mm in length with a 2,865 mm wheelbase, making it one of the larger SUVs in its segment.
Inside the cabin
The cabin features BMW’s Curved Display with a 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9 inch touchscreen running BMW Operating System 9.
The instrument panel is wrapped in Sensatec, while the M steering wheel gets a flat bottom design and paddle shifters. Sport seats with ventilation and lumbar support are standard, trimmed in Veganza upholstery.
Other features include a panoramic glass sunroof, Harman Kardon audio with 15 speakers and 750 watts output, a head-up display, roller sunblinds for the rear windows and BMW Digital Key Plus.
Driving Assistant Plus and Parking Assistant Plus come as standard with features like active cruise control with stop and go, lane assist, surround view camera, reversing assistant and drive recorder.
Engine and performance
Under the bonnet is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 255bhp and 400Nm. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and BMW’s xDrive All Wheel Drive system.
BMW claims 0 to 100kmph in 6.3 seconds.
The engine is supported by 48V mild hybrid tech for smoother responses and better efficiency. Adaptive suspension with electronically controlled dampers is also standard.
The takeaway
At Rs 74.50 lakh, the X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro is clearly aimed at buyers who want their mid-size luxury SUV with sharper performance and stronger visual presence.
