Enthusiasts ahoy! The Skoda Kodiaq RS is coming to India

Have kids? Want an enthusiastic driving feel without compromising on practicality? Skoda has finally heard all the requests, and they’re bringing the Kodiaq RS to India in Q2 2026. The Skoda Kodiaq RS packs a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine and boasts a 0-100kmph time of 7 seconds with seven-seater space, advanced safety tech, and that signature Skoda boot-swallowing practicality — perfect for Indian families craving thrills on everyday drives. Here is everything you need to know about it.

The Skoda Kodiaq RS gets cosmetic changes which make its styling more sportier as compared to the normal Kodiaq which is offered in India. It gets sportier front bumpers and blacked out grille with a RS badge. It gets sportier 20-inch aero wheels with red brake callipers. The rear end follows the same design language as the Kodiaq but it gets blacked out bumpers with new twin exhausts. The Skoda Kodiaq RS is offered in 7 different colour options.

The Skoda Kodiaq RS packs in a 2-litre TSI petrol engine which produces 262bhp and 400Nm of torque and it is paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox which sends power to all four wheels making the Kodiaq RS an all wheel drive. which offers quick and smooth shifts. This engine propels the Kodiaq RS from 0-100kmh in a surprisingly quick 6.3 seconds and to a top whack of 231kmph. It also gets updated disc brakes with twin pot callipers and DCC+ adaptive dampers as standard which enables 7 drive modes  — Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual, Snow and also a special Off-Road mode.

The Skoda Kodiaq RS gets the same dashboard design as the normal Kodiaq but it gets leather finishing on the dash as well as the seats with red stitching all around which makes the interior look more sportier. It gets the same digital driver’s display and 13-inch infotainment screen as the standard Kodiaq. The Kodiaq RS can be had with either a 5seater or a 7seater layout. Other touches include red stitching on the three-spoke steering wheel and a black headliner. More features on the Kodiaq RS include an optional Canton surround sound system, keyless entry and matrix LED headlights with light animations.

We expect that the Kodiaq RS will be priced around ₹55-60 lakh (ex-showroom) and it will arrive in India as a CBU unit in limited volumes. Skoda has confirmed that the Kodiaq RS will be launched in Q2 of 2026.
