Kia has also expressed its intent to strengthen the electric charging infrastructure in India through Kia’s K-Charge program, available on the MyKia app. This allows users to access more than 15,000 charging points spread across India. The app also provides route planning and a map for all charging stations. Along with that, Kia has more than 100 dealerships equipped with DC fast chargers, along with a network of over 267 EV-ready service centres across the country.

Commenting on the launch, the Chief Sales Officer of Kia India, Mr Sunhack Park, expressed how, “At Kia India, sustainability is not limited to introducing electric vehicles, but about creating a complete ecosystem that makes EV adoption easier and more practical for customers.” He also stated that, “The Battery-as-a-Service model is a strategic step in that direction, enabling customers to experience advanced EV technology with reduced upfront costs and greater flexibility.”
