Yes, you heard it right, Range Rover has slashed the prices of the Range Rover SV and the Range Rover Sport SV by ₹75 lakh and ₹40 lakh, ex-showroom respectively. This price slash comes before the India-UK Free Trade Agreement rollout and is for the completely built units (CBU) imported from the UK.

This reduction in price is only for two models in the Range Rover lineup, the first is the Range Rover SV, the top-of-the-line version costed ₹4.25 crore, but now with the price cut it costs ₹3.5 crore ex-showroom. It is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine with mild hybrid tech producing 530bhp and 750Nm of torque, and it can hit 0 to 100 kmph in 4.9 seconds.
The Range Rover SV is the flagship of the Range Rover range in India and is offered in a four-seat layout for the ultimate chauffeur-driven experience. The SV is now offered in ultra metallic paints with gloss and satin finish as standard.
The other model getting a price cut is the Range Rover Sport SV, which was earlier priced at ₹2.75 crore, is now priced at ₹2.35 crore. It is the most powerful Range Rover ever produced till date, with a twin turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 producing 626bhp and 750Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed gearbox and all-wheel drive, meaning it can reach 0 to 100 in just 3.9 seconds.
These price cuts do not apply to the other models in the Range Rover lineup like the Land Rover Discovery Sport, Range Rover Velar, and Range Rover Evoque, as all the models that are locally assembled will not change, as this price slash is only for completely built-up units. At the same time, the prices of the Defender and the Discovery won’t see any changes, as they are built in Slovakia and hence the India-UK Free Trade Agreement does not apply to them.
