Maserati is looking to turn a new page in India with the launch of its updated Grecale, GranTurismo and GranCabrio ranges, alongside the India debut of the track-focused GT2 Stradale. The announcement coincides with the opening of Navnit Maserati in Mumbai and the first India visit of Santo Ficili, CEO of Maserati and Alfa Romeo.
The updated line-up brings revised styling, powertrain options and cabin changes across the range. Prices for the Grecale start at ₹1.14 crore, while the GranTurismo range begins at ₹2.62 crore. All prices are ex-showroom and pre-FTA.
The Grecale range comprises five variants, starting with the 300hp version at ₹1.14 crore. The Modena 330hp and Modena 390hp are priced at ₹1.29 crore and ₹1.39 crore, respectively, while the range-topping Trofeo, with 530hp, costs ₹2 crore. The all-electric Grecale Folgore is priced at ₹1.90 crore.
Visually, the updated Grecale gets a sharper front-end design inspired by the MCPURA. One of the key additions is a new 390hp Nettuno-derived V6 option, while the Folgore electric SUV is said to offer improved range.
The GranTurismo and GranCabrio receive revised front-end styling, along with updates to their interiors. Their Trofeo versions produce up to 590hp from the Nettuno V6, while the all-electric Folgore models benefit from an 80km increase in claimed WLTP range, taking it to over 540km.
The GranTurismo range starts at ₹2.62 crore for the GT 490, rising to ₹2.80 crore for the GT 590 and ₹3.14 crore for the GT Folgore. The GranCabrio is priced from ₹2.91 crore for the GC 490, ₹3.10 crore for the GC 590 and ₹3.30 crore for the GC Folgore.
At the sharper end of the spectrum, Maserati’s MCPURA coupe is priced at ₹4.35 crore, while the open-top MCPURA Cielo costs ₹5.20 crore. The GT2 Stradale, which makes its India debut, sits above them at ₹5.72 crore.
Derived from Maserati’s GT2 racing programme, the road-legal GT2 Stradale sends 640hp from its Nettuno V6 to the rear wheels. Built in Modena, it is positioned as the most track-focused car in the brand’s road-going line-up.
Cabin updates across the new range include a racing-inspired steering wheel, a redesigned PRND selector, improved digital interfaces and a Maserati Digital Clock with an octagonal bezel. The brand is also expanding its Fuoriserie personalisation programme, with more colour and trim options. Customers can now customise the GranCabrio’s fabric roof as part of the bespoke programme.
The launch also marks a deeper commitment to the Indian market through Navnit Maserati. Its showroom at Trade Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex will serve as the brand’s primary retail hub for Western India, offering the full model range, manufacturer-approved aftersales service and a dedicated Fuoriserie configuration area.
With its updated models, a new retail partner and the GT2 Stradale’s arrival, Maserati is making a broader play for India’s luxury car market, spanning SUVs, grand tourers, convertibles and a road car with a clear racing pedigree.
