RML GTH: A Hypercar Porsche Never Built

RML, the British motorsport and engineering outfit, has unveiled the GTH, a hypercar that transforms a Porsche 911 Turbo S into something Porsche itself never dared to make. Limited to just 39 units, the car celebrates RML’s 40th anniversary and its four decades of racing pedigree.

Highlights

  • Based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S, heavily re-engineered

  • 920 bhp, 1,001 Nm from twin-turbo flat-six

  • All-carbon vast body, longer wheelbase, wider track

  • Active aero and active dampers for road & track use

  • Nürburgring simulations: 6 min 30 sec lap potential

  • Only 39 units, starting around ₹6.6 crore (before donor car)

Key Details

Founded in 1985 as Ray Mallock Limited, RML has done it all: British Touring Car titles, WTCC wins, and endurance racing. The GTH brings that motorsport DNA to the road.

Underneath the Storm Purple bodywork sits a Porsche 911 Turbo S, though stretched and widened beyond recognition. Litchfield Motors massages the engine to churn out 920 bhp and 1,001 Nm. That’s a fair leap from the standard Turbo S’s 650 bhp.

Keeping things glued to the ground are driver-adjustable aero pieces, an active front splitter and a rear wing, while suspension duties are handled by active dampers that adapt between road cruising and flat-out track runs. RML’s simulations suggest a Nürburgring lap time of just 6 minutes 30 seconds.

This first example, an SE Ultimate spec, wears a vivid Storm Purple paint job, gold centre-lock wheels, and gold badging. Buyers will need to provide their own 911 Turbo S donor car before RML transforms it into the GTH. With the base car factored in, the total cost is expected to exceed ₹8.3 crore.

The RML GTH isn’t just a Porsche 911 with a fancy froc,k it’s a full-blown re-engineering exercise aimed at creating the ultimate road-legal endurance racer. For collectors and track junkies, this is the hypercar Porsche didn’t make but probably should have.
