Third-Gen Audi Q3 Reflects Fresh Design Philosophy

Audi’s third-generation Q3 makes its debut with revised engines, updated lighting systems, and a redesigned interior layout. While the core dimensions remain unchanged, the new model introduces improved hybrid efficiency, enhanced safety systems, and a more practical cabin, indicating Audi’s intent to modernise without radically reinventing its compact SUV formula.

Bold New Look, Smarter Lighting

The latest Q3 brings a more sculpted, muscular design with sharper lines and improved aerodynamics. A new wide Singleframe grille and tapered headlights give the front a more aggressive look, while digital Matrix LED lights, using micro-LED technology, improve visibility and adapt automatically to road conditions.

At the rear, optional OLED tail lights and illuminated Audi rings try to enhance visibility and style. These lighting technologies, including 23-segment daytime running lights and 36-segment OLED tail lights, bring precision and adaptability previously only seen in Audi’s larger, full-size models.

High-Tech Interior with More Space

Inside, Audi brings in features usually reserved for its larger models. A 12.8-inch touchscreen and 11.9-inch digital cluster create a panoramic “digital stage”. The new layout also frees up space in the centre console by moving gear and lighting controls to the steering column.
Standard ambient lighting and optional illuminated fabric door panels add a more premium feel, while sustainability gets a nod with recycled materials used in seat fabrics and floor mats. The SUV also now includes acoustic glazing as standard for improved cabin quietness, particularly at highway speeds.

Upgraded Powertrains, Including Plug-In Hybrid

Buyers can choose between petrol (TFSI), diesel (TDI), and a new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version. The hybrid offers a combined 268 bhp and up to 120 km of electric-only range, thanks to a larger 25.7 kWh battery. Petrol and diesel options come with mild-hybrid systems and offer between 148 bhp and 261 bhp, with all-wheel-drive available on higher trims.

Improved Comfort and Safety

The new Q3 features an adaptive suspension system for a smoother ride. Enhanced driver-assistance systems include lane guidance, fatigue monitoring, and optional self-parking functions. A new camera system can even detect signs of drowsiness and take control if the driver becomes unresponsive.
