Porsche 911 Carrera T | The new way of touring

Porsche is expanding the 911 family with the 911 Carrera T, a lightweight sports vehicle. Touring models are those that provide a pure driving experience with incredibly sporty equipment, and the letter "T" stands for that. The seven-speed manual gearbox found on the 911 T is standard. There is also an eight-speed PDK available. The back seats are missing. The new 911 Carrera T is the pinnacle of purism and intense driving experience, with a PASM sports suspension with a 10-mm-lowering and decreased insulation. On crooked country and mountain roads, you may hear it as well as feel it. The cabin now features an even more stunning presence from the six-cylinder boxer engine's sound.

Standard with PASM sports suspension and Sport Chrono package

Between the 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera S is the new 911 Carrera T. The Porsche 911 Carrera T borrows the biturbo engine from the base 911, which has 283 kW (385 PS) and 450 Newton meters of torque and speeds the sports vehicle from zero to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds with a peak speed of 291 km/h. Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with a mechanical rear differential lock is an addition to the standard features from the Carrera S with a manual transmission. The Sport Chrono package and PASM sports suspension (-10 mm), which are exclusive to the 911 Carrera T when coupled with the 385-PS engine, are also standard on the 911 Carrera T. The 911 Carrera S offers this as an option. The optional rear-axle steering, which is typically only available for Carrera S and higher versions, is now available for the Carrera T upon request.

20 and 21-inch Titanium Grey Carrera S wheels with 245/35 (front) and 305/30 (rear) sized tyres are among the T-specific standard elements. The GT sports steering wheel, sports exhaust system, and Sports Seats Plus are also included as standard equipment with the 911 Carrera T. (four-way, electric). The 911 Carrera T with a manual gearbox, which is 35 kg lighter than the 911 Carrera with a conventional eight-speed PDK, is the lightest series 911 with the entry-level engine, weighing 1,470 kg. The manual gearbox is no longer an option for the 911 Carrera. Further weight savings come from lightweight glass and a lightweight battery in addition to the removed back seats and decreased insulation.

Touring car concept successful across several model lines

The Porsche 911 Carrera T's model designation, which begins with the letter "T," stands for touring and dates back to 1968, when the 911 T was approved as a touring vehicle. With the 911 Carrera T of the 991 generation, Porsche brought back the purest 911 variation in 2017. The original 911 T was sold until 1973. Since then, the 718 Cayman T, 718 Boxster T, and Macan T have all successfully applied the idea of the simple, yet incredibly athletic layout to other model lines.

Exclusive details inside and out

The Porsche 911 Carrera T's external features in Dark Grey stand out from the rest of the model lineup. Agate Grey is used in contrasting areas like the top and bottom trim on the outside mirrors, the new door and rear emblems, and the trim strips on the rear lid grille. The top of the windscreen is tinted gray as well. The sports exhaust system's tailpipes are high-gloss black. The result is an even more extroverted and energetic appearance for the Porsche 911 Carrera T.

The standard four-way Sports Seats Plus emphasize the interior sportiness of the vehicle. The T interior is finished off with beautiful high-gloss black inlays and matte black trim. Clients who want their vehicle to stand out even more might select the optional Carrera T interior kit. They are given extra safety belts in this situation that contrast with one another and are either Slate Grey or Lizard Green. The 911 emblem imprinted on the headrests, the stripes down the seat centers, and the ornate stitching are all examples of this. The logo and stitching on the floor mats may also be ordered in the contrasting shades of Lizard Green and Slate Grey.

Small but exquisite selection of options and colors

The Porsche 911 Carrera T provides both the even sportier and remarkably light full bucket seats with Race Tex seat centers and optional Adaptive Sports Seats Plus (18-way, electric) seats. An expanded leather interior is an option for the Carrera T interior package. Together with the top portions of the dashboard and door panel trim, the armrests on the door panels and center console are likewise made of leather.

In addition to the four metallic colors Deep Black, Gentian Blue, Ice Grey, and GT Silver, the new 911 Carrera T is also offered in the four solid colors Black, White, Guards Red, and Race Yellow. Chalk, Ruby Star Neo, Carmine Red, Shark Blue, and Python Green are the unusual colors that are offered. The Paint to Sample service, which offers paintwork in more than 110 possible color tones, is another option offered to buyers of the 911 Carrera T.
