Suzuki has launched a new Special Edition of the Hayabusa in India, priced at ₹19.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Special Edition is primarily a visual update over the standard Hayabusa, with exclusive styling elements and additional equipment. Alongside the Special Edition, the standard Hayabusa has also received new colour options and a few updates to its electronics and equipment.
What is new in the Hayabusa Special Edition?
The biggest changes on the Special Edition are cosmetic. It gets an exclusive Pearl Vigor Blue colour option, along with special decals and a unique wheel finish.
The Special Edition also gets a 3D Suzuki fuel tank emblem and a special edition emblem on the fuel tank. The muffler-end and heat-guard components receive an anodised finish, adding to the bike’s visual appeal.
As standard equipment, the Special Edition also comes with a single-seat cowl, giving the Hayabusa a more sporty appearance.

Electronics and Features
Along with the new colours, Suzuki has also made updates to the standard Hayabusa’s electronics. The bike now gets a revised Launch Control System and an updated Power Mode Selector.
The Smart Cruise Control system has also been updated and now remains active even during gear shifts.
Both the standard Hayabusa and Special Edition now get a new ELIIY power lithium-ion battery. Suzuki claims the new battery is more compact and lighter than before, while also delivering more stable voltage under load.
Apart from these updates, the mechanical package remains unchanged.
The Hayabusa continues to be powered by a 1,340cc, inline-four-cylinder, DOHC engine producing 190hp and 142Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The bike uses a twin-spar aluminium frame and swingarm, while suspension duties are handled by adjustable KYB inverted front forks and a rear monoshock.
Braking hardware includes Brembo Stylema front brake callipers working with twin 320mm full-floating discs, while the rear gets a Nissin single-piston disc brake.

The Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition is priced at ₹19.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The standard Hayabusa is priced at ₹18.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This means the Special Edition costs ₹91,000 more than the standard version.
With the Special Edition, Suzuki has primarily focused on giving the Hayabusa a more distinctive appearance, while the standard model receives new colour options and electronic updates. Both versions also benefit from the new lithium-ion battery and updated systems.
