2026 Isuzu V-Cross launched from Rs 25.50 lakh, now 4x4 only!

Isuzu has updated the V-Cross for 2026 with minor cosmetic tweaks and added features. Prices now start at Rs 25.50 lakh and go up to Rs 30 lakh ex-showroom. The bigger change is mechanical. The V-Cross is now available only with a Four Wheel Drive setup.

Variants and pricing

Z 4x4 manual – Rs 25.50 lakh
Z Prestige 4x4 manual – Rs 27 lakh
Z Prestige 4x4 automatic – Rs 30 lakh

A Premium Pack is available at an additional Rs 28,000.

Subtle exterior refresh

The updates are modest but visible. Up front, the bumper gets a body-coloured lip and revised fog-lamp surrounds. The grille is larger and finished in black for a stronger stance. The headlamp internals have been reworked as well. On the side, wheel arch cladding has been removed for a cleaner look and the 18-inch alloy wheels get a new design. At the rear, the chrome bumper has been replaced by a black unit, while the large ISUZU lettering on the tailgate remains.

Larger touchscreen inside

The cabin layout remains familiar with its rounded dashboard and three-spoke steering wheel. However, the infotainment system is now a larger 10.3-inch free standing unit. It supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include a 6-way powered driver's seat, an 8-speaker audio system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and USB Type-C ports.

Safety gets an upgrade

New additions include a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring and tyre pressure monitoring. The V-Cross continues with six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, hill descent control and hill start assist.

Same diesel engine, 4x4 standard

Under the bonnet sits the familiar 1.9-litre diesel engine, producing 161 bhp and 360 Nm. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. Power is sent to all four wheels as standard, with the 4x2 version now discontinued.

Rivals

The V-Cross remains one of the few lifestyle pickups on sale in India, alongside the Toyota Hilux. It also overlaps with off-road-focused SUVs like the Mahindra Thar and Force Motors Gurkha.

The takeaway

The 2026 update adds useful tech and sharpens the styling. With 4x4 now standard across the range, Isuzu is clearly leaning into capability.
