If we were to analyse the sheer number of speakers, no car in the list beats the XUV700. It has a " 3D" audio system with segment-first 12 speakers. Mahindra claims these speakers were developed in partnership with Sony Corporation. How much do you think the number of speakers most affect audio quality?
Tata has a long-standing collaboration with JBL and Harmann for its audio needs. This is evident in its Premium SUVs, Harrier and Safari. They have a 10-speaker JBL-tuned setup, including five speakers and four tweeters. A subwoofer and amplifier also add to the sound quality.
MG Hector is synonymous with car features. The speaker department is a strong part of that package. It gets an 8-speaker setup by Infinity. It has a subwoofer and amplifier, along with speakers and tweeters. You can control the music of these speakers from India's giant portrait infotainment screen, which is 14 inches.
We can't complete a list of cars under 20 Lakhs without the Jeep Compass. The premium SUV has a 9-speaker Uconnect audio system, including a subwoofer and amplifier like the Hector. The high sound quality takes its luxury quotient to a new level.
